a feeble attempt to remain somewhat culturally relevant
It is odd that an attempt to remain culturally relevant (creating and posting a blog), removes me one step away from relationships with people. In a society where people are screaming out for relationships it is incredibly odd that one of the means by which to do this is to isolate oneself behind a keyboard for a time and post musings and read other people's insights etc. However ironic that may be I am now jumping in with one foot.

you're totally right. it's a funny thing that this means of "relevant communication" is accompanied by relational isolation.
ps- you're only jumping in on one foot b/c of your ACL
Well said Raider. However, guys like me who are living on the opposite side of California who you never call or write to and who wonder how you are doing can now keep up with you. I hope you and the family are well. Still think of my college years where God shaped me in many ways through influences such as you. Blessings. ICAN
